Trailer crush Abia Poly student to death

A demonstration has arisen at Abia State Polytechnic subsequent to an unfortunate incident where an unidentified student of the institution was involved in a fatal accident by a swiftly moving trailer near Dorado Hotel and Brass Junction on the 5th of March, 2024.

The student, who had recently completed her final year exam at Abia State Polytechnic in Aba, was struck by a heavily loaded trailer.

Earlier, she participated in various activities organized by the graduating students to commemorate the conclusion of their time at the school.

Her classmates shared photos of her posing with others during the celebration.

She wore a black trouser and a white t-shirt, dedicating sections of her top to friends interested in attending her sign-out party.

Following the occurrence that resulted in the demise of the senior student of the institution, incensed students obstructed the thoroughfare.

Reports indicate that the driver of the trailer was apprehended, and the trailer itself was impounded by the enraged students.

In the interim, law enforcement personnel have been deployed to the scene to restore order and tranquility.
