P. Tinubu approves N12.5billion to buy SUV Vehicles for Customs

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has been granted approval by the Federal Government to acquire a fleet of 200 Toyota Land Cruiser Buffalo V6 vehicles.
This procurement is valued at a total of N12.5 billion, with an additional allocation of N522 million designated for insurance coverage.
The decision to greenlight this acquisition was made during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held on Tuesday, presided over by President Bola Tinubu.
The NCS, under the leadership of President Tinubu, has been authorized to proceed with the purchase of these vehicles, which are essential for the operational efficiency of the service.
It is noteworthy that the insurance coverage for the 200 Toyota Land Cruiser Buffalo V6 vehicles will be provided by an Insurance company, ensuring comprehensive protection for these assets.
This strategic move underscores the commitment of the Federal Government to enhance the capabilities of the Nigeria Customs Service in fulfilling its mandate effectively and efficiently.
