Yesterday, a tragic incident unfolded on the Lagos-Ibadan highway near Sandcrate, resulting in the unfortunate loss of four lives.

The ill-fated event occurred precisely at 5:57am, involving a Toyota bus bearing the registration number ZUR87ZY, which was carrying a total of twenty individuals.

The report provided by Florence Okpe, The Public Relation Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun State, it has been determined that the accident was primarily caused by excessive speeding.

The vehicle in question, while hurtling down the expressway, somersaulted multiple times before finally coming to a halt.

Regrettably, four men succumbed to their injuries, while ten others were fortunate enough to survive, albeit with varying degrees of harm.
