The crash, which occurred early this morning, left several utility poles and live wires scattered across the roadway, forcing police and emergency crews to block off the corridor for public safety.

Although the sight of the school bus raised immediate concern, officials confirmed that no children were inside at the time of the incident. Both drivers escaped without injuries, according to reports from Roswell Police.

Cleanup and repair operations are expected to take several hours as power crews work to replace downed poles and re-secure electrical lines. Motorists are advised to avoid the area entirely and use alternate routes such as Roswell Road and Holcomb Bridge Road to ease gridlock.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns about road safety in Atlanta’s high-traffic zones, especially where heavy vehicles and sharp intersections intersect with aging infrastructure.
