Dangota reviews fuel price for Nigeria

Dangote Refinery has formally announced a reduction in the pricing of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as petrol, for the benefit of marketers engaged in the procurement of this essential commodity.
This significant announcement was made public through an official statement issued on Sunday, which was duly signed by Mr. Anthony Chiejina, who holds the esteemed position of Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer at Dangote.
In the aforementioned statement, it was elucidated that the previous price of Premium Motor Spirit, which stood at N990 per litre, has undergone a comprehensive review and has now been adjusted to a new price of N970 per litre.
This revised pricing structure applies specifically to marketers who are sourcing the product directly from the refinery.
This decision to lower the price is indicative of the refinery’s commitment to ensuring competitive pricing in the market, thereby facilitating a more accessible supply of petrol for marketers.
Such adjustments are crucial in the context of the broader economic landscape, where fluctuations in fuel prices can have significant implications for both consumers and businesses alike.
The Dangote Refinery remains dedicated to maintaining transparency and fostering positive relationships with its stakeholders in the petroleum sector.
