It is noteworthy to mention that the FRSC, with commendable efficiency, managed to curtail the incidence of accidents to the lowest possible level through the implementation of the aforementioned special patrol, which was diligently carried out from March 29 to April 2.

“The massive deployment of our personnel, both Regular and Special Marshals, during the Easter period helped to reduce cases of accidents.

“Our personnel were able to check the excesses of drivers who were fond of flouting traffic rules and regulations, which sometimes resulted in crashes,” he said.

In light of these unfortunate events, the sector commander earnestly implored all motorists to consistently uphold and abide by traffic regulations and guidelines, emphasizing the importance of this practice not only during festive seasons but at all times.

Furthermore, Mr. Uga reaffirmed the unwavering dedication of the FRSC to sustain its collaborative efforts with other relevant agencies, underscoring the collective objective of enhancing the safety of the nation’s roadways for the benefit and protection of the motoring populace.
