Again: Accident in Ore-Lagos expressway claims five lives

The police command in Ondo has reported that, regrettably, five individuals lost their lives in a tragic road accident along the Ore-Lagos expressway this past Saturday.

Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, command spokesperson, conveyed in an official statement that the unfortunate accident occurred at the Akinfosile area of the expressway at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Today at about 04:30 pm, around Akinfosile area along Ore-Lagos expressway, the Police received report that a Toyota Hiace Bus with Reg No FKG 405 FX from Akure en route Lagos while on the way somersaulted and entered into the bush,” the statement reads

According to Odunlami-Omisanya, the vehicle involved in the accident was identified as a Toyota Hiace Bus bearing Registration Number FKG 405 FX, which was traveling from Akure, the capital of Ondo, to Lagos.

Furthermore, Omisanya mentioned that seven individuals sustained injuries and were promptly transported to Grace of God Hospital for medical attention, while the deceased were respectfully placed in the mortuary at the same medical facility.
