MC Oluomo: assistant involved in fatal accident

Regrettably, the untimely demise of Akintoye Benson, an assistant to the chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, occurred due to a fatal motor accident.

A video circulating online depicted Benson’s lifeless body within a severely damaged vehicle following the vehicular collision on Third Mainland Bridge during the evening hours of Thursday.

Ogunseye Vincent, a close acquaintance of the deceased, confirmed the tragic event on his Facebook profile, expressing that the late Benson was a dynamic individual with ambitious aspirations and foresight.

Benson served as the chairman of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN) Zone H until his passing.

“The news of your passing came to me as a rude shock. You were a vibrant man with high hopes and vision,” Vincent said.

“Though the memory we shared remains forever, I take solace in the trust that Olodumare will grant your soul a peaceful rest. Sail well to eternity, Comrade Akintoye Benson (Baba Ogun),” he added
