Road Safety Insight (RoadKing.ng)
Crashes involving overturned vehicles remain among the most dangerous types of road incidents globally. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rollover crashes, although less common, account for a disproportionately high number of severe injuries and fatalities due to crushing impact and occupant ejection risks.
This incident highlights critical safety reminders:
- Always wear seatbelts, they significantly reduce the risk of being trapped or ejected.
- Avoid over-speeding, especially on rural or narrow roads.
- Stay alert to road curves and surface conditions.
