Diligent Police traffic officer laid to rest after accident

Jummai Musa, a traffic police officer known for her dancing while on duty in Surulere, Ogba, and Maryland in Lagos State, has been laid to rest following a fatal accident she was involved in Nasarawa.

The incident occurred as she was traveling to her hometown in Gombe State.

Reports indicate that she, along with a driver and a girl, lost their lives when the bus they were traveling in was struck by a truck.

The truck was carrying 18 passengers at the time of the collision.

As per the information provided in the post, the deceased officer was noted for her unwavering dedication, consistently being the foremost contributor in her church by providing financial support and caring for widows.

It was mentioned that she did not have any children or a spouse.

Reports indicate that the deceased served in the Nigerian Police Force for a period of 23 years.

Despite not receiving due promotions, she managed to accumulate over 30 awards in recognition of her diligence and commitment to duty.

In December 2022, she was honored with the title of Traffic Officer of the Year (female) at the Pan African Legacy Awards.
