Enugu: Petrol Tanker Explosion Claims Multiple Lives

A devastating petrol tanker explosion on Saturday near Ugwu Onyeama, along the Enugu-9th Mile Expressway, has left many dead and vehicles destroyed in its wake.

Eyewitness footage of the horrifying incident shows charred remains of at least seven vehicles and a tricycle, with men from the state Fire Service working tirelessly to douse the raging inferno. The tanker reportedly overturned before igniting, sparking chaos and panic in the area.

Though the exact death toll remains unclear, witnesses report that several people inside vehicles that plunged into a nearby gully remain unaccounted for.

In the video, a voice pleaded for prayers for the victims, highlighting the profound loss and despair caused by the tragedy.
