The commissioning of three junction improvement projects in Idi-Ape, Agodi Gate, Oyo State, is scheduled to take place on Friday.

Governor ‘Seyi Makinde will be hosting Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, for this occasion.

The event marks the commencement of the road infrastructure segment of the Ibadan Circular Road project.

This particular phase of the project covers a distance of 32.2 kilometers out of the total 110 kilometers.

Notably, the section is named after former Governor Rashidi Ladoja.

It is imperative to highlight that this phase represents the culmination of the initial stage of the project, which was initiated by Governor Makinde.

Previous administrations had contemplated similar endeavors without success.

The South-East Wing of the project, spanning 32.2 kilometers and divided into four sections, features six bridges and two interchanges.

These structures were finalized in the year 2023.
