The incident sparked widespread concern and fervent prayers across the Anglican Communion and beyond.

Though the specifics surrounding his release remain unclear, the announcement has been met with widespread celebration on various Anglican social media platforms.

One such platform, the official Facebook page of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Nnewi, joined others in giving thanks for the cleric’s safe return.

This development marks the end of a distressing ordeal for the revered clergyman and his driver, as their release brings relief to their families, the church community, and concerned citizens who had awaited this news with bated breath.
